In what way does the title "A Worn Path" clearly represent the focus of the story?
Phoenix has walked along a "well-worn path" many many times to Natchez, Mississippi in order to buy medicine for her son. The focus of the story is on the journey itself rather than the somewhat anticlimactic outcome. On her long, arduous trek, Phoenix encounters a number of obstacles, such as wild animals and an even wilder hunter who points a gun at her.
But because she's an old lady who's pretty much seen it all, and because she's made this journey so many times before, Phoenix takes it all in her stride. Life itself has clearly been very hard for Phoenix, but...
