Heterogenous catalysts -

The catalyst is in a different phase to the reaction phase. Ex: Fe in Haber process

 

Homogeneous catalysts -

THe catalyst is in the same phase of the reaction. Ex: chlorine (Cl2) in ozone disintegration reaction
