The first, and most obvious, example is that George Wilson kills Gatsby. Sacrificing his life for the one he loves makes him the ultimate victim. What is even more poignant about this fact is the fact that Daisy would never allow herself to be a victim to save Gatsby. Another example stems from this comment on Daisy; Gatsby is a victim of Tom and Daisy's shallow nature. When they decide to leave after Myrtle's death, they leave Gastby to take the fall for Daisy killing Myrtle. A third example can be seen through his parties. Everyone uses Gatsby for the lavish parties he throws, but no one comes to his funeral. He is a victim of the shallow and materialistic society.
