What is studied in the science of sociology?
Sociology is the academic discipline that studies all aspects of human society and of the ways in which people behave in society. Sociology is mostly concerned with the ways in which people act as members of various groups. They look, for example, at how the members of families interact with one another. They can also look at how members of different races or ethnic groups are treated in a society. As a final example, sociologists will examine how poor people live in a society and how they differ from people who are not poor.
