Different types of media sources are:
- Newspapers, such as local, global, daily, weekly, and others
- Wire services, such as the internet
The media sources can differ in their facts and present different stories due to the fact that sources such as wire services, radio, television, daily radio, and daily newspapers are updated with information and reveal information first and can sometimes not get the full story due to the short amount of time from when they are alerted of information and when they present that to the public.
Sources such as magazines and newspapers that are not daily can have more information on subjects due to being able to have more time to research topics before publishing them.
eNotes offers a great study guide about Mass Media which can be found at the link below. It references several types of media sources including television, radio, Internet, newspapers, magazines, and other printed and outdoor forms of communication.
