Cyberbullying is a serious matter; hence anything that we can do to stop it is important. Here are some suggestions:

First, parents should be aware of what their children are doing online. As much as parents like to think that their children are responsible and always make good decisions, this is not true. Therefore, parents should talk to their children and monitor their computer usage.

Second, adults should talk openly about cyberbullying and the ramifications of it. Also adults should welcome anyone to come to them about potential problems that already exist.

Third, many schools now have policies in place about internet use. Many schools even talk about cyberbullying to all of their students. This is a good start, and it should be continued.

Fourth, teachers should also keep their ears to the ground, since they spend a good portion of their time with students. They will have an important perspective.
