This chemical can cause eye and skin burns, digestive tract burns, damage to the respiratory system. Sometimes, a skull and crossbones is placed on a pesticide warning label. This indicates its a poison by oral, skin or inhalation routes. A triangular shape indicates low hazard. A bony hand means corrosive to eyes and skin--either acid or alkali. A diamond shape is moderate hazard. A flammable pesticide is indicated by a flame and an octagonal shape means high hazard. Explosive(for pesticides in a can) is indicated by a symbol that looks like something is exploding.Handle all products with caution, read labels and follow safety rules at all times.
