We have to solve 24x^3 + 18x^2 - 168x = 0

24x^3 + 18x^2 - 168x = 0

=> 6x( 4x^2 + 3x – 28) = 0

x1 = 0

x2 = [-3 + sqrt ( 9 + 448)]/8

=> [ -3 + sqrt 457]/8

=> -3/8 + sqrt 457 / 8

x3 = -3/8 – sqrt 457/8

The required roots of the equation are 0 , -3/8 + sqrt 457/8 and -3/8 – sqrt 457/8
