Of course, an organization does not improve just by having a corporate culture.  Instead, it needs to have a good corporate culture in order to improve.  Corporate culture can help an organization to improve because it can provide the organization with a set of expectations and values that all employees internalize.  For example, a corporate culture might emphasize that all employees should think for themselves and should suggest possible improvements in the way the organization works to their superiors.  If this corporate culture takes hold, the organization's employees will constantly be thinking about how to improve the organization.

When organizations have corporate cultures that have positive characteristics like this, they can improve over time.
