What is the private conversation the parents have with Jonas?
At the unusual sharing of dreams, Jonas reveals a particularly odd dream. Jonas is baffled by it because, one, he does not usually dream, and two , it involved his friend Fiona and taking off her clothes. Jonas's parents wait until his sister leaves for school, then his mother tells him that he is having "stirrings", and that he must take a pill every day to make them stop. Jonas realizes that his mother and father take a pill every day, and the announcements always caution children to report their "stirrings" right away for treatment.
