As you know, all people see things in different ways. In other words, all people have their own points of views or we can say perceptions. Part of the reason for this is that all people experience things differently and they have different "filters" through which they interpret things. Also a person's culture and society make a huge difference when it comes to perceptions. For example, people from Saudi Arabia may view religious matter very differently than someone from Beijing, China.
In light of this, it is important see how others view things. In other words, to check your own peceptions, all you need to do is to examine the perception of others. When we do this, we are able to see things from the vantage point of another person. We can learn in the process.
