An illustration of the letter 'A' in a speech bubbles

In scene 3, we're explicitly told that Blanche turns the radio to a station playing "Wien, Wien, nur du allein." This was a popular song in Europe, and means "Vienna, Vienna, you and only you." This would represent both Blanche's desire for love to be at the center of her life and her desire for other places, more romantic places. That she begins to dance then shows her willingness to be transported, just as Stanley smashing it shows his resistance.
