The Prologue basically introduces the whole play, telling us it is set in Verona and there is an old feud between two families in Verona. They proceed to tell about Romeo and Juliet falling in love and killing themselves, and their suicides end the feud. The last part says the play will last about two hours and will be about the events leading up to the suicides of the young couple.
