According to your diagram, PQR triangle is a right angled triangle. In a right angled triangle,

`sin(49) = (QR)/(PR)`

`0.7547 = (QR)/12.38`

QR = 12.38 * 0.7547 cm

QR = 9.343186 cm.

 

Therefore the length of QR is 9.34 cm to the nearest hundredth of a centimeter.
