What is meant by "falaah" "sucess" and What kind of "Falaah" towards which a "Muazzin" calls the Muslim community?
“Azan” is an Islamic call to worship Allah (S.W.T) for Muslim community. The “Muazzin” calls out from the mosques five times a day which spread the intelligible summary of Islamic beliefs. All of us are well aware of the text of Azan. We know that in Azan “Muazzin” turns the face towards left while saying “Hayya alal-falaah” which means “Come to success”.
You have to discuss what is meant by this “FAlAAH” “success” and what kind of “falaah” towards which a “Muazzin” calls the Muslim community?

Success in Islam is the success in the Hereafter. When Muazzin calls the Muslims to Falaah, he is calling them to have a contact with Allah (God) and find this success. In the contact prayers Muslims reaffirm their pledge to Allah many times a day as under and pray:
All praise belong to Allah, Lord of the worlds,
The most Merciful (to begin with), The most Merciful (to the end).
Master of the day of Judgement.
Thee alone do we serve, and Thee alone do we ask for help.
Guide us to he Right Path,
Path of those upon whom be Thy blessings, Not of those upon whom be (Thy) wrath, Nor of those who are lost (Quran 1:7)
As Allah says:
Then remember Me, I will remember you,
And be thankful to Me and be not ungrateful to Me.
And when My servants ask thee about Me,
"Lo! I AM SURELY NEAR."
I respond to the call of the caller when he Calls Me,
And believe in Me,
That they may proceed aright. (Quran 2;186)
This is because Muslims, like followers of the Judaism and Christianity believe in God and the hereafter, a place for the successful.
Say ye: "We believe in Allah, and what has been sent down to us,
And what was sent down to Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob and his children,
And what was given to Moses and Jesus,
And what was given to the prophets from their Lord;
We separate not one from the rest of them,
And we be obedient to Him (Muslims)."
So Muazzin is calling Muslims to be His obedient servants to attain eternal success in the Hereafter.
thank u sir,
Falaah means success
