What is the meaning of life and what's the point?
The meaning of life and the point of life are very complex topics. These ideas involve religious views as well as personal views.
Religiously, there is a famous passage in the Old Testament about choosing life when a person has a choice between life and death. This verse is interpreted that a person shouldn’t commit suicide, but he or she should instead live life to its fullest extent. Some people believe that everything is predestined and is determined by Divine action. However, this viewpoint also believes that people have to make an effort in life to accomplish things that are predestined to happen. If we don’t make the effort, the things that are supposed to happen may not happen. We are given the choice to do good or bad and to help facilitate the things that are supposed to happen to us.
Life gives us so many options. We should live life to the fullest extent possible. We should make the most of the opportunities were receive. We should make life meaningful within our religious and moral values. When given the choice, we should choose to live our life to the fullest extent possible. This is the whole point of life.
