I'll only address some of these questions—the rest are for you to do on your own:

a) Where did the king sit in the arena? He had the best seat in the house, of course.
b) Did the tiger come out of the same door each 'trial'? Nope. It was a random selection--sometimes out one door, sometime out the other.
c) Did the princess like the lady who had been chosen for her lover's 'trial'? Give reasons. She despised her. They'd had a little incident in the past; however, the princess primarily hated her because she's a barbaric and supremely jealous woman.
d) How did the princess indicate to her lover the door of her choice? A slight move of one hand.
e) What had the princess seen in her dreams? Both scenarios--her lover being eaten alive or married.
f) Did the princess expect her lover to ask her to indicate which door he should choose? Absolutely, Just as he expected her to have found out the secret and tell him which door to pick.
g) Why did no one else in the arena notice that the princess was communicating with her lover? It says it was a subtle gesture, and I'm sure they were all enthralled by this marvelous young man standing before them in the arena.

I'll discuss some of the words and phrases that need to be defined

Emanated = came out from

Retribution = revenge

Impartial = not taking sides, fair

Aesthetic = having to do with how attractive things are

Moiety depends on the context. It usually means a subdivision within a tribe.

Apple of his eye = someone's favorite, whom they are really proud of.

Poetic justice = when someone gets "what is coming to them" or what they deserve.
