What is the Falling Action in A Christmas Memory?

In the story "A Christmas Story" the boy and his elderly cousin begn to gather everything in preparation for making fruitcake and for preparing for Christmas.  They scrape money together, and pick up nuts, go and buy the ingredients , and then go home and prepare the cakes in the kitchen.  They even drink a little of the rum that is used in the cakes.  They get a Christmas tree and decorate it and are all prepared for the Christmas season.

The falling action takes place after all the fruitcakes have been delivered and the two can finally rest.  In the end the boy is sent away to military school.
