This is not truly a word.  It is something that was made up for the movie musical "Mary Poppins."

In the movie, the word is something like a magic word.  It is something that you say that can really have an impact on your life.  For example, it can make you feel really great to say it.  As another example, one of the people in the movie said it to his girlfriend and that was, apparently, what caused her to become his wife.

So, it is not a real word.  Even in the movie, it does not really have a set meaning.  It is just a word that sounds funny and apparently has some amount of power to it.

This was a song written by the Sherman Brothers and sung by Julie Andrews and Dick VanDyke in the Disney musical film Mary Poppins in 1964.

According to the film, saying supercalifragilisticexpialidocious is something that can be said when there is nothing else to say, or you do not know what to say. It is basically a nonsense word and no real meaning. It can also be used if something excites you or makes you happy. It would be equivalent to saying "wonderful" or "excellent." I believe it also a word to help get your spirits up when you are feeling down.
