Generally speaking the term "document formatting" refers to the style of a document and treatment of its content, especially in a word processing sense. Examples include, font size, line spacing, and whether or not paragraphs are indented. For the second part of the your question, a Boolean connector refers to the words “and”, “or” and “and or”. These search terms are used to narrow your search in a database.
