Anne Frank's The Diary of a Young Girl showcases the time Anne spent in hiding during World War II as a young Jewish girl. Anne and the rest of the Frank family joined the Van Pels family as well as a man named Fritz Pfeffer. While this was a particularly tumultuous time for all of these people, Anne did her best to keep a positive atmosphere in their annex. While mostly keeping her attitude positive, Anne and her mother did struggle at times to get along.

Anne always dreamed of being a famous actress in Hollywood. One of the ways she made the annex more positive and welcoming was by hanging pictures of movie stars on the walls to brighten the rooms.

Otto Frank, Anne's father, believed his daughter to be very cheerful. Anne frequently asked the group to play games to keep them distracted. She also asked the group to celebrate holidays and keep living like they were not in hiding.

One of Anne's idols was her father, Otto. Otto believed in the power of positive thinking. This belief was passed down to Anne who always did her best to have a positive and upbeat attitude. Anne's attitude was infectious and impacted the rest of the people in the annex.

The most important thing Anne did was to stay positive herself as much as possible. She wrote in her diary: "Whoever is happy will make others happy too. He who has courage and faith will never perish in misery!" She never gave up. Always looking to the future, she revised her diary with the intention that it would someday be published.

OtherĀ things she did were to paste pictures of movie stars on the walls of her bedroom. She encouraged the others to celebrate Hanukkah and made a lampshade hat and gave presents to the others.

Anne was a very optimist person. My first example, is that she stated the quote of how bad the world is now but has belief that people are still good at heart. Another example, is that she always encouraged people to think positivley and not be misarble becuase they are already in a terrible situation. My finale illistration, is that Anne always looked foward to the future. She even hoped one day that her diary would get published and it indeed did.
