A chemical symbol designates an element that belongs to the periodic table.
A chemical formula combines two or more symbols and it represents a chemical compound. We notice that the chemical symbols are followed oftenly by a subscript that represents the mole proprtions of next element.
Chemical equation involve chemical formulas of reactants and products. Reactants are chemical compounds that enter into a chemical reaction and products are the result of the chemical reaction between reactants. The amount of elements found in reactants must be equal to the amount of elements found in products.
