The derivative of f(x)=(x+2)(x+5) has to be found.

f'(x) = [(x+2)(x+5)]'

Use the product rule

=> (x + 2)'(x + 5) + (x + 2)(x + 5)'

=> (x + 5) + (x + 2)

=> 2x + 7

The required derivative is 2x + 7
