What is the derivative of f(x) = 3sinx*cosx

An illustration of the letter 'A' in a speech bubbles

Given f(x)= 3sinx*cosx

We need to find the derivative.

We know that sin2x = 2sinx*cosx

==> sinx*cosx = sin2x /2

==> f(x)= (3/2) *sin2x.

Now we will differentiate.

==> f'(x)= (3/2)*(sin2x)'

==> f'(x)= (3/2)*2*cos2x

==> f'(x)= 3cos2x
