Ethical communication occurs when a group of people engage in any form of communication that is aligned with the group's morals. Problems in ethical communication may arise when members of the audience are from different cultural groups. Every cultural group has their own morals that may or may not differ from those of another culture. Sometimes someone may believe another person is trying to harm the conversation when in reality the person doesn't understand how to properly communicate with the group because they are from a different culture. The best thing for anyone who must communicate with a recent immigrant or someone from another culture is for that person to understand the unwritten moral codes that dictate the ethical communication of that culture. Once that person understands the cultural moral code he or she can adjust their communication methods in order to achieve a positive response from the immigrant or foreigner.
