There are three main component of cigarette smoke, the burned cigarette.

 

(1) Nicotine :it is the addictive component. it is neurotransmittor which directly effect the brain and reduce the reflex action making us feel pleasure ( pleasure sensation). It also causes cancer. It is the component that make us feel

 

(2) carbonmono oxide : - it is also causes many harmful effect . it cause even death. It combine with hae moglobin forming carbopxy haemoglobin which reduces the oxygen carry capacity of blood thus cuasing the cell to die due to lack of oxygen.

 

(3) tarr : it is thick, slimy and posionous substance. it effect the lungs. it form a coat in the respiratory system. it can even effect the bronchi. it can cause saffocation also.
