The most common example of an inclined plane is a ramp.  All inclined planes are more commonly known as ramps.  However, it should also be noted that not all ramps are inclined planes.  Stunt ramps for bicycles and skateboards are not inclined planes, as they are curved, but if the ramp is flat, it is an inclined plane. 

The planks that go on the back of trailers to load ATVs or small cars onto the trailers are inclined planes.  The ramps on the backs of delivery trucks and moving vans are also inclined planes.  The switchbacks on a road going up over a mountain are between stretches of inclined planes.
