Was Hitler always planning on going to war?

Indeed, at least as early as 1933-34, it is believed that Adolf Hitler had plans to go to war , initially to revover areas of Germany which he believed had been 'given' away to other neighbouring states; and then, also to create more 'lebensraum' (elbow room) for Germany and its population (openly announced by 1935-36). later on, these ideas also came to expand and include a 'larger' German empire.

By 1939, quite some months before the outbreak of World War 2, Germany had begun to fuly rearm and demand a revision of the Treaty of Versailles. This rapid revival of German military might greatly weakened France at a time when a weak British governnment was bent on appeasement of Hitler and the Nazi juggernaut.
