Use factoring and the zero product property to solve the following problem (4a^2)-11a+6=0

Expert Answers

An illustration of the letter 'A' in a speech bubbles

`4a^2-11a+6 = 0`

`4a^2-8a-3a+6 = 0`

`4a(a-2)-3(a-2) = 0 `

`(a-2)(4a-3) = 0`

For this to be happen either `(a-2) = 0` or `(4a-3) = 0`

`a-2 = 0` then `a = 2`

`4a-3 = 0` then` a = 3/4`

So the answers are a = 2 and a = 3/4
