Please tell me what kind of chemical reactions are the following:

Cu (s) + 4HNO3 (aq) → Cu(NO3)2 (aq) +NO2 (g) +H2O (l)

Cu(NO3)2 (aq) +2NaOH (aq) → Cu(OH)2 (s) + 2NaNO3 (aq)

HNO3 (aq) + NaOH (aq) → H2O (l) + NaNO3 (aq)

Cu(OH)2 (s) + heat → CuO (s) + H2O (l)

CuO (s) + H2SO4 (aq) → CuSO4 (aq) + H2O (l)

CuSO4 (aq) +Zn (s) → Cu (s) + ZnSO4 (aq)

The first is primarily an oxidation/reduction reaction.  The copper goes from a charge of zero to a charge of +2 and was oxidized. The nitrogen goes from +5 to +4 and was reduced.

The second is a double replacement reaction.

The third is an acid/base neutralization reaction which is a type of double replacement reaction.

The fourth is a decomposition reaction.

The 5th is again an acid/base neutralization reaction which is a type of double replacement reaction.

The 6th is a single replacement reaction.

1. Substitution reaction. Also can be looked at as a reduction reaction.

2. Double replacement reaction (or Metathesis)

3. Acid-Base neutralization reaction (type of double replacement reaction)

4. Chemical decomposition reaction

5. Again, another Acid-Base neutralization reaction (similar to 3)

6. Single replacement reaction (or Substitution reaction)
