The turntable rotates 720 degrees per second

We need to determine how many revolutions it makes in one minutes.

1 min = 60 second

Also we know that:

1 revolution = 360 degrees.

Then let us convert :

==> (720 degrees/sec) * (60 second/minute) * ( 1 revolution / 360 degrees) = 720 * 60 / 360 ) (degree*second*rev / sec* min *degree)

   =  120 revolution / minute

Then the turntable makes 120 revolutions in one minute.

The degrees by which the turn table rotates in second = 720 degrees.

The degrres in one full rotation = 360 degrees.

Therefore the number of rotations done by the turntable in one second = 720 degrees/360 degrees = 2.

The numbere seconds in one minute = 60.

Therefore the number rotations done by the turntable in one minute @ 2 rotations per second = 60*2 = 120.
