Will Apple iPhone 5 be released On October 4th ?
Apple’s next generation iPhone 5 has become the focus of attention of the public conversation. Especially, when October approaches, the information on this smart 3G phones is showing explosive growth. According to the media, iPhone 5 will be officially released to the public on October 4 by the Apple’s current CEO Tim Cook. If the message is clear, it will be a special significance National Day for Chinese this year.
In addition, iPhone 5 may feature a larger 4.0 inch screen, which would be even thinner and wider. Equipped with A5 dual-core processor and iOS 5 operating system, that’s a lifetime in cellphone years.
Of course, "a lifetime in cellphone years" is how long in chronological time? Maybe twelve months? I don't know and don't care - my point is that, regardless of when the iPhone 5 (or any other new and improved version, size, or app for any cellphone) is released, efforts to render it outmoded and obsolete will begin no later than 24 hours after the release.
I've never owned a smartphone. The one I have now has WAP internet and Java disabled so I can't play games on it. Honestly, until I make a lot more money I'm not going to bother; cell phones are phones. I use mine to make calls, text, and occasionally check my email. It's not a big deal to me when super-ultra-new-fantabulous phones come out.
Personally, I love my iPhone. I still have the 3G3, and it works fine. In fact, I dropped my phone and the screen shattered so I needed to replace it, and I got another 3GS instead of the 4, because I didn't see what the fuss was about. The only disadvantage is that they don't make many accessories for the 3GS any more.
Just to strike a discordant note, do we really need another new iPhone? Don't get me wrong: I am not a Luddite, but I find that I have so little time in my life nowadays anyway and I don't even have a cell phone. I can't imagine how little time I would have if I bought one.
