There a six types of myths:
1. A traditional, typically ancient story dealing with supernatural beings, ancestors, or heroes.
2. A creation myth.
3. A story, a theme, an object, or a character regarded as embodying an aspect of a culture
4. A star whose fame turns him or her into a myth.
5. A fiction or half-truth, especially one that forms part of an ideology.
6. A fictitious story, person, or thing
