I'm answering this question because I have worked with incarcerated offenders of every description on a crisis basis as a volunteer.  You really need a health professional to answer your questions as each person is different.  In my observations, yes, there can be a cure for voyeurism but it will require professional help, a determination to succeed and a willingness to really work at recovery.  It also depends on how far the person is into voyeurism and the purposes for which it is used.  This behavior can be, and usually is, criminal in nature as it is an invasion of someone else's privacy.  For the sake of the voyeuristic person, help must be sought immediately before discovery, incarceration, and a permanent registration as a sex offender.
