Terrorism is an issue that is plaguing much of the world today. The problem is that unlike the United States, India doesn't really have much of a plan in place for dealing with terrorism and, as such, authorities are left with no clear idea of what to do when attacks occur. A good article that might assist you in understanding just how bad the situation in India is with regard to this lack of a plan can be found here:

Terrorism is a tough issue to tackle. Like post #2 stated, it is widespread throughout the entire world. India certainly needs a very specific plan in regards to dealing with terrorism. Right now if there were a major terrorist attack in India, I am afraid they would suffer massively.

Every country needs to have a way to tackle terrorism. India is a rising star in the world economy, and is actually becoming more and more westernized. So India could naturally be a target of a terrorist group, especially since the US outsources there so much.

Terrorism is running rampant in many countries of the world. While many of these countries need tougher laws with regard to terrorism, I have to wonder how many of these countries are run by governments who actually support terrorists.
