How was technology different from 'The Stone Age' , in the 1900s, this present moment and in the future? How will it be different in the future?

I always look back at the cartoon "The Jetsons" and laugh. When it first came out, people were in awe with the things portrayed in the show. Today, many of the technologies are commonplace. Essentially, I think that technology will become more versatile and less expensive (so more people can afford the products).
Technology in the future will move towards being smaller and smaller. We have already seen this with computers and we will continue to see it. We will also see a move towards "green" technology as the demands of climate change push us in this direction.
