Let length of the cube is x unit. Since in cube length, width and height all are same therefore surface area S is defined as,

`S(x)=6xx x^2`  sq. unit

The arguement or parameter of function S is x because surface area depend on dimensions of cube.

S(10)=6 x (10)^2 cm^2

=600 sq. cm.
