If the car travels equal distances in equal intervals of time, in a straight line, we have that it performs a uniform rectilinear motion (MRU). For this type of movement, the speed does not vary in time, that is, it is constant and is defined as follows:

v = d/t

d, is the distance traveled.

t, is the time it is in motion.

Solving this equation for the distance d, we have:

d = v*t = (15.1)(28) = 422.8 cm

To convert to meters, we divide the result by 100

d = 422.8/100 = 4.228 m
