Minerals in Canada are concentrated in the  Canadian Shield. This geological formation separates Canada into north and south sectors with farmland in the south and grassy plains in the north.

Canad's water is concentrated in its many lakes. In fact, Canada's 250,000 lakes hold two-thirds of the fresh water in the entire world!

Canada uses these natural resources in industry and exportation.
