The value of `log_b 27` and `log_b (b/2)` has to be determined.

`log_b 27 = log_b 3^3 = 3*log_b 3`

It is given that `log_b 3 = 0.48`

=> `3*log_b 3 = 3*0.48 = 1.44`

`log_b(b/2) = log_b b - log_b 2`

It is given that `log_b 2 = 0.3`

=> `1 - 0.3 = 0.7`

The vale of `log_b 27 = 1.44` and ` log_b (b/2) = 0.7`
