Then the outcomes are: 1,2,3,4,5,6
Then the probability of chosen a 4 = 1/6
Then the probability of rolling a number that is NOT 4 is:
P(not 4)= 1- P(4)
             = 1 - 1/6
              = 5/6
Then the probability is 5/6

When a die is rolled , the are 6 possibilities of the rolling. We may get any number from 1 to 6.
So  the number of  possibilities of numbers we get = 6.
Number of numbers getting other other than 4 is = 5 as we may get any  one of the numbers in (1,2,3,5,6).
Therefore the probability of not getting 4 = number of ways of not getting 4 / total number of geting any number from 1to 6 .
Therefore the probability of not getting 4 = 5/6.
