Significance/use of Color (Imagery) in 1984

I know yellow is significant in the novel as its brought up several times with the yellow note at the chestnut tree cafe and several other times in the book, but do you guys/gals know what other colors are used and what are their significances?

You might want to think about colours in general and what they symbolise - for example, the red you mentioned in #2 is normally associated with blood, love or passion - which is potentially a key insight into the passion between Smith and Julia. We normally associate yellow with cowardice but I am not sure if that applies. Have a think to see if you can associate colours with moods or emotions and take it from there. Good luck!
