Given a set of numbers, the mode is the value that appears most often, the median is the element that lies in the middle when they are arranged in increasing or decreasing order and the mean is the sum of all the elements divided by the number of elements in the set.

Arrange the elements in the given set {2, 5, 19, 3, 7, 9, 8, 7, 2, 3} in increasing order.

{2, 2, 3, 3, 5, 7, 7, 8, 9, 19}

The mode for this set is not unique, it is 2, 3 and 7. The median is the average of 5 and 7 which is 6.

The mean is `(2+ 2+ 3+ 3+ 5+ 7+ 7+ 8+ 9+ 19)/10 = 6.5`

The required mode is 2, 3 and 7; the median is 6 and the mean is 6.5

Firstly, arrange the numbers in ascending order;

2, 2, 3, 3, 5, 7, 7, 8, 9, 19

The mode is the number that appears most often, so the mode is 2, 3 and 7. The median is the number that lies in the middle of the arrangement, so the median is the average of 5 and 7. Therefore, the median is 6.

To calculate the mean, add all the numbers up together and divide it by 10 (as there are 10 numbers total), as if you were finding the average. This results in 6.5. Therefore, the mean is 6.5.

For the set {2, 5, 19, 3, 7, 9, 8, 7, 2, 3} what is the mode, median and mean

First we need to arrange the values in ascending order,

{ 2 , 2 , 3 , 3 , 5 , 7 , 7 , 8 , 9 , 19}

Mean = (2 + 2 + 3 + 3 + 5 + 7 + 7 + 8 + 9 + 19)/10

        = 65/10

        = 6.5 Answer

Median = (5 + 7)/2

           = 6 Answer

Mode = 2, 3, 7 Answer
