Semantic memory involves memory with meaning. In Alzheimer's patients, there might be a reduction on daily semantic memory, meaning that new memories are not formed fully with meaning, while older memories from childhood reman intact and are sometimes the only thing the patient knows.

Semantic memory is that capacity that abilitates humans to recognize the meaning of words. Also, semantic memory is the one that is making us able to remember all the concepts that we've once learned.

Semantic dementia is the loss of this capacity. This loss is also seen in Alzheimer's patients, mostly in the early stage of this disease.

One natural remedy, also known as memory booster,  that fights against the early memory decline is the blueberry juice.
