We live in a world where the need for energy is the priority. We are using it on daily basis and the consumption are really large. However, the majority of our energy sources are not renewable. These include our fossil fuels which is our central source of energy in our daily living. Our fossil fuels are not forever available so there should be researches in the discovery of new ways of production of energy. Nuclear energy can also provide energy for community but it is very dangerous and costly. Finally, some countries are now investing on renewable energy to be the main source of energy by 2020. There are still debates on how "renewable" is renewable energy is but it can answer the energy demands of the people in the future. Examples of sources of renewable energy are biomass heat, solar power, wind power, hydroelectric power, biodiesel (biofuels), ethanol, geothermal, ocean and many more. Some are dealing on biofuels; energy that can be derived from products of plants and/or animals. Transformation of waste to energy sources is also being researched since we also have waste disposal problems.
Discovery of energy sources is one of the priorities of the scientist in order to sustain the energy needs of the people around the world.
