I think I might finally understand your question.  I think the father is saying that if he builds such a son, his life will not be in vain.  I hope that is correct.

I still cannot write your whole essay for you, but I will try to help.

I think what you have to think about here is what is the goal of being a parent.  This father is saying that his goal is to raise his son well.  If he does, his son will set high goals for himself.  His son will plan for the future wisely.  So you should comment on whether you think these are the right things for the father to hope for.

Do you think a parent can say their life was worth living just because their child has been raised well?

Do you think that a kid has been raised well if it has high goals and plans for the future wisely (I'm not sure about the hearth line -- I think "wear" is not the right word)?  If your kid did those things, would you think you had done a good job, or are there other things you would expect.

So that is how I think you need to start.  Think about those questions and write your thoughts.
