A Rabbit runs at a velocity of 8.3 m/s for 2.0 minutes. What distance, in meters, does the rabbit reach in this time?
When we know the (constant) speed V of something and the time T of its travel, the distance travelled is V*T. Of course we have to consider units of measure in which these quantities are given.
Here V=8.3 m/s and T = 2.0 min = 2*60 s = 120 s.
Therefore D = 8.3m/s * 120s = (83*12)m = 996m.
