Descriptive research are methods used to describe situations, they consist of three primary types:
- Case Study Method
- Observational Method
- Survey Method
Some of the strategies that can be used to increase the rate of response to descriptive research collection are:
- Audience targeting – select survey sources that are likely to respond or are relevant to the question being asked.
- Survey Design – Make sure the survey is as short, simple and relevant as possible and stays within scope.
- Clarity- Make the reason and purpose of the survey clear and open
- Use incentives or rewards to encourage response.
