Cytoplasm makes up most of the cell's volume and is found in both animal and plant cells. It is mainly composed of water. The nuclear membrane is found in both plant and animal cells and is the covering on the outside of the nucleus. Cilia are tiny hairs that are for transport and are found in some types of animal cells. Flagella are tail-like structures for locomotion and can be found in some types of animal cells, for example, a sperm cell. Plant cells like those in ferns, can have flagella. Vesicles are arelatively small intracellular, membrane-enclosed sacs that are for a storage or transport and are found in animal and plant cells.
