This is a great question and I think there is a clear example of this. All you need to do is look at advertisement agencies and all the advertisements in the world. Women are objectified for their beauty. This has never changed and it only continues to grow. Here are a few example.
First, look at the movies, are not all the leading women for the most part thin and have a certain beauty? This alone is a form of confirming stereotypes.
Second, take a glance at magazines and see what sells. Is it not women scantily clad? The odd thing is that this is what sell for men and women. And it does not matter what kind of magazine it is. It can be about cars.
Third, look at billboards and you get the same pretty much. These are all examples of the same stereotype being spun.
